IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON REMOVING YOUR EDIBLE IMAGE FROM THE BACKING SHEET:

The edible image should simply peel off the backing sheet it comes on, and is ready to be placed on your cake. On occasion the icing sheets can soften due to weather conditions, or the amount of edible ink in the print. Should this happen and you are having trouble, removing the edible image from its backing sheet, we recommend running a warm hairdryer over it for 5 to 10 minutes, to dry it off, then once cold it should simply peel off the backing sheet and be able to place on your iced cake. You can also place the icing sheet in the freezer for 15 minutes, and remove it from the backing sheet the second you take it from the freezer. But be careful if doing this to work with it straight away, as the humidity from the freezer can cause it to soften more.

They have a 6 month shelf life, and simply need to be stored in a dry place, not the refrigerator. they may be placed on any icing and should just simply stick to the icing you have covered the cake with. Place on fresh cream, can cause the colours to bleed a little, so we suggest backing the image with a disc of sugarpaste, should you wish to place them on a fresh cream cake
